Photographer’s Note
This is a great example of a plant that has adapted to its environment. Few plants can survive the heat and drought conditions in Namibia but you will find Quiver Trees (apparently named because the wood is used in making quivers for arrows) in the most hostile places. Taken around midday south of Walvis Bay, it is interesting to note the only plant nearby is in the shade of the tree. Any other position would have it exposed to the intense midday sun.

I like plants and this one is very beautiful, the landscape around is very interesting and the position of the tree is perfect. I liked these details like the rocks in the ground, the little plant in the shadow, the flowers, the bark's texture.. I would like a little more of contrast. anyway it is beautiful
