The Ansonia Hotel as seen from between Broadway and Amsterdam.
The exterior is decorated in the Beaux-Art style with a Parisian style Mansard roof.
Erected between 1899 and 1904, it was the first air conditioned hotel in New York.

Nicely done architecetural shot, Jean. Nicely composed. good exposure control. I think the B&W convefrsion works well too -- it helps brings out the details and shapes. My only nit is along the bottom -- it's hard to get the bottom of the building with objects in the way and people walking by; I think your crop here is good, but, unfortunately, we can see it is a crop. Maybe a tripod and a long exposure could elminate the moving objects?

You have captured the lighting effect veryw ell and have very nuanced the b/w tones and textures in this one. the entire composition is superb
