Fantastic view from the top of the main tower showing the terracotta roofs, the narrow streets and the surrounding tuscany landscape. The town is famous for its medieval architecture and the numerous towers.

I used a wide angle to include foreground interest with the tower and the narrow lane which takes you off to the distance.

Hello Martin,
Quite a climb up to the top of the tower isn't it. I have exactly the same shot but it is not as good as yours. You had a much better day for weather and a wider lens.
San Gimignano is an amazing place and you have captured the atmosphere of this beautiful place perfectly.
