Here are the photo of the Greek Hall in New Hermitage building. It's on the ground floor of The Hermitage, with its basalt columns and marble walls it's always cooler and kind of empty here, even if the upper floors are jam-packed with crouds.
Nice collection of very ancient Greek relics here.

You've done a good job of making the columns powerful and imposing in your picture. They look cold and almost metallic.

Obviously having a few people in the background helps with the perspective.

Well done and someday I look forward to visiting this impressive place.

Hello Uhu,

Again you show us some impressive interiors from the former Tzars residence!
I like the low point of view adding even more impact to the scene, well exposed with sharp fine details...

Very massive columns but their dark color is really stamping a good mark on this interior with good lighted exposure.

Very good details and sharpness from f/2.8 and 1/8 shutter. The symmetry you have chosen works so well here for a pleasant view.
