Photographer’s Note
This is The Esplanade hotel in Strandvägen. Next to it (on the right) is The Diplomat hotel.
It's not advertizing of hotels :) It's just the way part of Strandvägen (centre of Stockholm) looks like :)
Right in front of these hotels is Nybroviken - the water area with boats departing and arriving... very beautiful views... especially in sunny weather!
Nybroviken (Swedish for "New Bridge Bay") is a small bay in central Stockholm

Hi Elena.
Despite I don't like that tree in the middle of the building, the colours and the architecture of the building I think they're great.

Helle Elena,
A very elegant building in the most super rich upper class area of Stockholm. This picture brings back memories of summer, but actually today the weather is just as beautiful, only a bit cooler. The yellow taxi breaks the discreet colour scheme.
Best wishes,
Gert

Hi Elena,
An enchanting cityscape from Stockholm. Good control of light, pleasant colours and excellent sharpness. Your Stockholm photos are good advertising of the city. :-)
Best regards,

Hi Elena,
from my point of view this image would lack a certain harmony of the colours without that green tree!
This is a very pleasant capture of a fascinating place. But - and now I am kidding - I miss the typical Swedish Volvos!
TFS and warm regards

dear Elena,
an interesting and eye-catching building designed by the special idea.
that idea looks like "toward the sky", its shape reminds me of the space shuttle. then the willows are like its smoke. this is merely my associations...
ever so, this combination between the blowed willow and the towering hotel is nice as to all meanings.
thank you for your clear and refined shot,
Akihisa

Elena
Hello!
This picture helps me to see what I had not time to. Even so sometimes I recognise the few I could see. I like to see hotels posted in the gallery. In future vistings an hotel and surroundings areas are important details. I suppose the central station is not far. Warm regards. Tomi ( Later follows message if I get it ready ). ( Good night)

Hi Elena,
That's a special looking building. And direct PoV gives full attention to this detailed facade. Good sunny weather, sidelight brings all forms well visible.

Hej Elena,
This is probably the closest we can come to The Belle Époque in Sweden, this very rich area built in the late 1800 by merchants and the bourgeoisie, you got in scandinavian blue,

hello Helena,
Personnaly, it's precisely the position of the tree,
exactly at the middle of the façade, who give all the power to the shot!

This is another very nice picture from Sweden. It's very well composed with excellent colors. It goes into the category blue pictures from Sweden which Sweden is so famous for.

Хорошенький такой. Люблю гостиницы с историческими корнями - внутри много всего напихано, интерьерно.
Этот и экстерьерно тоже красивый - шведский модерн, угу. Или они его ЮгендСтиль называют, в Швеции?
