Photographer’s Note
It is not yet Summer but we are already experiencing warm weather between cold and windy days when the southerly winds blow. This is another shot from our TE meeting in Sorrento. As we walked away from the main beachfront with its shops and the lovely park flanking the beach, we came across little jetties in front of private beach houses that were perched on the hill behind us.Some of the jetties were maintained, others were in various states of decay.
I had to brighten the image again, as the CPL made the image a little too neutral on this hazy afternoon.

Hi Klaudio, presented with the same opportunity, my images of this were a mess compared with this. Kept simple by excluding much of the jetty and including all of the boat to the right. A good effort. cheers, Steve

The simplistic view of summer beset with haze and cold mornings :) I remember you saying...beautiful light...and I cannot help saying...beautifully captured light.
The reflection looks delightful
Thanks for sharing

Hello Klaudio,
I seem to recognise this place from a shot by Macondo, however, the aspect is completely different.
The hut and quay are very nicely placed off centre but are well balanced with the boat.
Excellent details and a well recorded rippling refection.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

hi Klaudio,
since the weather in NYC has been great despite mid-October, for once I'm not green with envy that down under AGAIN is getting summer, while we make sure our winter coats are ready for snow, rain and sleet ;)
I like the photo a lot, especially the clarity and how the square format fits this particular composition. the jetty and the boat form a nice diagonal, something I've always enjoyed in photos. the warm yellow of the building is a good colour accent against the blue of the sky and water, very good work.
best,
Kristine

Hi Klaudio,
Beautiful sharp image, the soft colours and the flat light (CPL?) look so Spring. No harsh summer light yet.
The square frame and the composition using the jetty and the boat fits the mood perfectly.
Very nice image.

Hi Klaudio,
this is another very fine result of your TE meeting with a wonderful atmosphere of freshness. The contrast between the beach house and the different shades of blue is very nice. Excellent management of the light!
Warm regards

That is so confusing sometimes, u're waiting for the summer and in the same time, I'm waiting for the winter to come:) I've always liked this square framing with simple white frame, it's classy isn't it and what's inside the frame really calms me. A TE meeting? How was it?
Know what? I just caught myself drinking coffee while I'm writing to u:)
