Photographer’s Note

A lone boatman in his canoe on the Pamba river at Mancompu, Kuttanad, India. There is no bridge anywhere near this place, and people still rely on canoes like this for transportation.
It was early morning, and the man seemed to be entirely at peace with himself and with the world, and his pose was perfect.

Looks like the classic Buddha position. It's almost strange the way he sits right at the edge and the boat does not tilt down. But we all know that the Buddha is as light as a feather :-) Serene impression.

I like the image of the man on his canoe and the reflexes of the water, on the framing ... perhaps the result would be different if it was less centered, in any case congratulations for the photo.
