Williamstown [2] Photo

Photographer’s Note

One could spend an entire day from dawn to dusk at Williamstown and you will have endless subjects for photos. For a short visit, I have less than an hour, so I can only shoot what comes obvious before my eyes as I hopped from pier to pier at a fast pace, mindful of my impatient driver waiting nearby. And this is one of the shot.

hello Alfred,
I like a lot the clear light, and the slight pink cast on the clouds, it creates a beautiful combination with the warm golden tone on the details. the symmetry works very well to create a calm and peaceful mood, very nice work.

Hi Alfred,
Lovely shot, it's always good to see what a talented photographer like you can do with a scene that most people would look at and not see something as beautiful as this. All the elements for a great shot are here and captured perfectly. I guess purists might argue the balance between water and sky, but for me it is perfect. I can only imagine what you would have captured if you had had more time to play, or wait for the light to drop.

Hi Alfred. Your choice of tall frame is wonderful here. I like the small ripples creating artistic reflection on the surface of the water. Sharp and well exposed image in very neat juxtaposition. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend. Jusni

Hi Alfred.
This shot has great luminosity and looks like a painting. The sight of yachts and masts always appeals to me. The reflection here is amazingly good, so rich and deeply coloured. The sky is also a lovely sight. Williamstown is certainly one of my favourite places for photos.
