Photographer’s Note

A couple of fisherpersons in a zodiac boat on the North Channel of Georgian Bay, Lake Huron. The photo was taken at Spider Bay Marina, in Little Current on Manitoulin Island (the largest freshwater island in the world).

Hey I was just there a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I did not get such a sunset but I did get some similar shots whilst in Tobermory. Having the fisherman in the scene really adds interest to this shot.

Wonderful vibrant tone .. the silhouettes work will against the flaming sky .. the boat and layers of land create a nice sense of dimension for a vertical frame ... striking color .. very nice. take care, John

Wonderful varying shades of intense gold seen in the sky and making a striking reflection in the riffling surface of the bay.
The silhouette of the fishermen adds warmth and scale to this fine image.

Fisher-men against light are very interesting. Good composition and marvellous colors. I like very much the gold sea and the red of the sun. Well done
