Essaouira is a wonderful place of full Atmoshäre and flair. The people are friendly and open for the world.
Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, is a city wilaya and tourist resort in the western Moroccan economic region of Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz on the Atlantic coast.
The Médina of Essaouira was taken up in the year 2001 to the UNESCO list world cultural heritage.

again - you managed to show the mood, the nature, the soul of that place... that old kasba is a fantastic place for moody photography...

Hello Wolfgang,
A fine capture of this lad walking along the wall with the light coloured houses of the old town in the background. The image has a pleasing atmosphere engendered by the mist over the sea and the presence of the seagulls.

Hallo Wolfgang,

Hello Mr. Schanze,
This is an astonishingly authentic cityscape, i love how it looks in a mysterious mist. The walker with a red hat is the crowning bonus. What a missed chance of timing though, just a single step forward of that walker, and it would be much better compositionwise. But maybe you would then miss that seagull...

Hello Wolfgang,
imho, an excellent photo of a boy and two birds - all together they create a diagonal line which, in its turn, creates a dynamic effect (especially with the boy's head turned downwards)!
Very nice light background, with the buildings of quiet colours.
best regards,
Elena

Hi Wolfgang!
Good shot! The composition is perfect with the boy in foreground, walking along the wall. I also like to see the city walls in background, surrounded by the fog and the seaguls flying around. Good capture, I like this atmosphere!

Bonjour Wolfgang
Bravo

Hi Wolfgang,
I like this shot of a daily moment in Marocco : the attitude of the young man in the background, the perspective with Essaouira, the bird and the soft colors. But I can't help thinking that B&W could have been an excellent choice too.
Anyway a nice shot.
Have a nice day,
Olivier.
