Photographer’s Note

On the eastern end of the most heavily-populated county of Washington State, Mount Si (pr. “Sigh") rises roughly 4,000 feet off the Snoqualmie River valley floor. Mount Si accentuates the beginning of the Cascade Range when traveling east. Its prominence evokes your attention.

This image was taken handheld, no tripod. Exposures were: Mountain; 1/60 second, f/4.0, exposure bias - none, and, sky; 1/160 second, f/4.0, exposure bias -1/3. Common: DSLR, 18-135mm lens set at 26mm's focal length. Polarizer filter was used. Sensitivity: ISO 200. White balance set to auto.
