Photographer’s Note
Juxtaposition of two of the hundreds of gigantic faces (thought to depict King Jayavarman VII if I remember - please correct me if I'm wrong) on the Bayon temple in the ancient city of Angkor Thom.
I've warmed up the colours a bit, as the light was a bit dull that day.
I would have liked to use a narrower aperture to get the farther face in sharper focus, but I don't like to increase the ISO too much, and a shutter speed of 1/80 is the slowest I can do, hand-holding this heavy lens!

I like this double face, all together in the frame flattened by the tele photo lens.

Nice shot! I like the way you combined the two different faces in one shot, showing one from the front and the other in profile, so that we can see different aspects at the same time. Great idea and very nice technique too. Well done!

Ahh.. you went to Cambodia. Awesome. So how do you like Cambodia?
Interesting photo with the faces crossing each other. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of your pictures from Cambodia.

Hi Charlotte,
you need a good eye to see the beauty of this repetition. One from the side vs. one from the front, one dark, one bright. And a very good crop.
Compliments, Chris

An often seen image (I think there is one in my gallery somewhere) but very well executed and well framed.
Nice one!
