February 2009 - Three Years in this site....
Indian, a full blooded Bengali from Kolkata (Calcutta), a banker, now based out of Mumbai. My digital photographic journey which began in Jan'06, continues.
I still have no pretense about my photographic abilities, but I can definitely say that the learning I had from this site is immense. I value a good constructive critique or comment much more than a smiley. If you don't like my picture(s), pls. feel free to say so and bluntly....but pls. be constructive in your criticism. It's important for me, because these pearls of wisdom & knowledge has made me a slightly better photographer (I think) than I was three years ago. I also try & write critiques in a constructive manner, trying to analyse a photograph to the best of my abilities; that's part of my learning as well.
The learning curve is steep & therein lies the challenge.
