Intro: It is about time I put off my procrastination and added a few words to my profile.

Having only a few months left of high school to complete and after quitting almost all sports and activities that I once took part in, it became quite obvious (much to my family’s delight) that I needed a hobby. Before I could even look at my options I had a new 350D and several used lenses in my arms; and from this point I haven’t looked back. Now luckily I was directed to TrekEarth several months in and have been inspired, critiqued and taught many things regarding photography, but there is so much more learn.

With only having a single year of high school ahead of me before independence hits like a brick wall my options are narrowing and this I refuse to admit to. (With that outlook I will be one of those seventy year olds who begin attending university for the eighth time to find what I truly want as an occupation). Due to past travels with my family (and friends) I am considering taking a half-year (actually, make that year) off following this coming year and discovering more of the world, hopefully with a camera in hand.
