Intro: I came here to learn stuff, and I have. I have learned that I like a lot less that I used to like when it comes to pictures, TE has made me discriminating.

I am also learning that there are three types of people that have cameras.

1. There are those that take snap shots and in my opinion those shots seldom meet the standards to be on TE. For the most part these people are happy with their own shots and are making zero attempt to improve their skills.

2. Then there are those that get training in photography and try very hard to make good photographs. Sometimes these folks are successful and find a niche, sometimes they don't find that sweet spot and their work has a forced feeling.

3. Then there are those with talent, that take shots we all like because they can see what we wish we could see, and they have technical skills to capture their vision; these are the people that make this real art.

I think I am a number 2, but I take pictures for me and share them here, if I was taking pictures for the rest of you I would probably be stressed most of the time.
