This is not the perfect example to show you what I was trying to tell you in words, but by using existing elements in your scene to frame your composition, it might help the reading of your image and keep eyes within the frame.

So by putting trees next to the frame, you create a "stopper" and avoid eyes to keep going out of the main interest. In your original, the houses next to the frame don't bring nothing to enrich your composition. So by framing closer and using the trees which are neutral, you make things work to the advantage of your photo.

The best way to do it is when you are actually on the terrain, where you can control your composition by moving back and forward, placing your main interest in a perfect spot, while keeping an eye on the surrounding elements, particularly the ones who will be close to the frame.

We tend to pay a lot of attention to our main subjects, while sometimes forgetting about the details on the edges. Fine tuning through your viewfinder is the key to succeed, trying to get your composition right at the camera, not working back in your software.

A very simple cloning intervention to patch up the white hole.

Just vary the source of cloning to avoid a distinct repeated pattern. You can do a much better job on the original.

Dans ce cas-ci, j'étais tellement près du canoe que j'ai effectué une mise au point environ où se trouve la ligne jaune et en ouvrant à f/22. J'obtiens donc une netteté irréprochable sur mes montagnes en dernier plan, mais le devant de l'embarcation est tout aussi sharp.

En se prêtant régulièrement à cette technique de l'hyperfocale, on développe un sens intuitif de l'endroit où effectuer la mise au point afin d'obtenir cette netteté du premier au dernier plan, selon la distance des éléments entre eux et par rapport à la lentille.

Salut Marine,

Bon voilà, ce n'est pas une mesure scientifique, mais en visant au delà du premier plan, approximativement à un tiers dans la scène, tu t'assureras d'obtenir une belle netteté au premier comme au dernier plan, en ouvrant à f/11 minimalement, f/16 idéalement.

Sinon, en effectuant ta mise au point sur les fleurs, elles sont trop près de toi et conséquemment, le background devient flouté, ce qui n'est pas l'idéal en matière de photographie de paysage, à moins que tu veuilles isoler ton premier plan et justement exploité un effet de bokeh, mais je ne crois pas qu'il s,agissait de ton intention ici.
