Intro: I joined TE somewhere in 2007 and for a long time I was not active on TrekEarth but I still took many, many photos and I really want to be more active in the future here on TE. It is such a wonderful place to see more about other countries and other peoples photos that one should appreciate the chance to be part of it.

I am 56 years old ( born in 1951) and I live in Cape Town , South Africa. I am an ordinary mother of 4 grown up children and now 2 grandchildren (still only 2) and never had the opportunity to travel a lot. I love to look at the other TE member's photos and if that is the only way I have to travel around the world, then I will be quite pleased.

Although I am anything but a professional, I am extremely fascinated by the art of photography and where ever I go, I look at everything through a photographers eyes and always see an opportunity for another great photo.
