I want and need more time to dedicate to other aspects of my life, not forgetting photography, and I also think that little sabbaticals from habits, even the nicest ones, can only be positive and refreshing. ! A beginner, I have started late in life with taking pictures I wanted to share, during the summer of 2007 on my holiday/honeymoon in Iceland with a compact I received just before. I did take some pics previously on holidays, like everybody, just for myself. My friends were not too bored when I was showing them and encouraging so I thought I should give it a try for more... Since this Christmas 2007 I am the proud owner of a DSLR camera, and a bit overwhelmed by it:-). I hope to be able to show a little of the beauty of the world and to learn by sharing with you on this site. Criticisms and suggestions on how to improve are most welcome and needed!
