| Présentation: | Travel is a passion for me and photography has always been an interest. It was little doubt that the two have come together and TrekEarth provides the perfect venue for sharing this. During most of my travels in Europe (2000-2003), I've used small point and shoots while backpacking; however, in the past few years, I've dusted off and upgraded the SLRs (film and digital) and appreciate the quality that they deliver more than ever. I believe the constructive critiques from this community will help us improve our photography, as an art in realism and sharpen our vision. TrekEarth has become a motivation to sort and edit down my images. My focus now is to have an image to represent each county or state I visit from now on. When I've selected an image I am for that county, it's time for another travel plan! Exotic travel is great, but with this exploring the county concept, I am enjoying local train trips just as much!
