| Présentation: | Greetings everyone. My name is Odd Jarle Jørgensen. For the last two years I have been living at Hålandsmarka, a small place just south of Stavanger Airport in Rogaland, Norway. On a daily basis I am working as an senior mechanic for Pratt&Whitney. Pratt&Whitney home page, a position with a lot of extra work that doesn't always let me travel too much and get great photos from around the world. All that is going to change though! Not to be pushing my luck, but I also have the position of Safety Ombudsman for my department and in addition I am also Second in Command and Emergency response leader for the local industrial Emergency Responce Team (ERT)(Firefighting, first aid, evacuation and disaster prevention) Between 2001 and 2005 I worked a lot of partime as an aircraft baggage handler for Braathens and Wideroe , a profession that gave me lots of ideas for really fantastic pictures, only problem was the fact that I didn't have a camera back then... Eventually in the summer 2005 I bought a used SLR camera from friend, username Kittyhawk. But as my amount of photos increased, so did the expences. I eventually bought a Canon EOS 350D camera in June 2006. The last addition to my arsenal is a Canon EOS 40D that I bought in Japan in the spring of 2008. I'm a natural magnet to aviation photos and anything linked to it, given the time and patiencem I could write entire books on the subject. My interests are (naturally) photography, although my experience in this field may not be the best I am always willing to learn. Other interest are Kobudo sword fighting( Tenshin Shoden Katorishinto Ryu style) , miniatures wargaming, sharpshooting, history, aviaiton history and technics, and taking long trips on the beach or in other outback places. My currrently new car is going to get some attention this year, it might seem easy but a car can be really demanding at times...
