Intro: I love photography and travel, the perfect combination. This sight is an inspiration to me, with some great photos of really interesting places. I am hoping to learn from the members and share a little myself. I am just an amateur but think I am getting better (at least a little). Feel free to comment truthfully about any of my photos as I am here to learn and not just hear the good things about my photos (I know very few) but also the bad (much more than good).

Some themes that I have created just to remember some of the greatest photos I have seen on the site. After looking through many, many photos on the site I seem to have the recurring thought that equipment and expertise doesn't matter as much as just being at the right place at the right time. A photo needs to be "caught" and not "taken". An endless chase for the photographer. This site takes the chase to the ends of the earth and shows some of the best moments that have been caught by those photographers willing to chase them.
