| Présentation: | HI friends!! I like to travel and I like photography, so TE is my best website. My question is: have I to visit a place once, and then travel to see other countries, or come back more times to the same place? I feel nostalgia of the countries I have already seen, but I'llseenot much of the world if I ever go back to my beloved countries. Anyway, after a well done tour and after having studied all my pho tographs, I know the country better and I feel ready to make an even deeper knowledge in a second trip, better if it is a very great country and there are many other areas to discover. So I went twice to South Africa and to India, and in May 2006 I went back to California for the third time for visiting Los Angeles. I hope to come back to India again and again, I love Indian people and I learnt to love them more also from TE friends as Henk. And I went to Soth Africa also a third time, not for a tour but for my huband's daughter wedding in Pretoria in December 2006. I tried to capture Pretoria people in my shots: in TE I see many South Africa huge landscapes and huge animals but few people. I usually read many books before starting for a journey, it is so difficult to understand the way of life in far countries as China or India, so books are very important for capturing deeper informations crossing those areas. Managing my pictures and preparing notes for TE I enjoy my trips again and again! Photography is also a way to learn better what we saw travelling in far countries; I am very joyful if someone born in those countries appreciate my pics, I am often worried to be arrogant when I shot at people. A smile is a help to meet a person whose language we don't know! I have learnt and I am still learning a lot from TE friends. Managing PS can improve the picture so much, I couldn't do this before using digital camera. And I enjoy to use not heavy cameras, and to be able to shot many many pictures and download them into a little hard disk every evening during my tours: I'll make my choose at home at the end of the trip. I live in Lestans, a little village in Friuli, between Pordenone and Udine. I was born in Trieste. I feel lucky to live in such a beautiful place, I show it here in some pics. I can have wonderful walks in the countryside with my dogs . I am retired so I can travel a lot, also because I like to have home exchange where it is possible to stop near a city and to go around having one day interesting trips. This way I got good new friends and I "lived their lives" in their places; and they also enjoyed my country. My home is open also for TE friends, of course. TE meetings: till now I partecipated to one meeting of a members group, and I enjoyed to know some friends one by one: Patricia Lim and Larry Carolan first in Los Angeles and then in Lestans Attila Szili in Trieste and in Lestans Alberto Piubello in Verona Aires Santos in Venice Christian Brandstaetter in Udine Arnab Chatterjee in Trieste René Toriello in Spilimbergo Livorno meeting 8 december 2007: Freddy Manada G_Clemens.
