| Présentation: | It all began back in the Spring of 2005 when Australian friends Josh and Emma came to Suffolk to visit. Equipped with her digital compact, Emma shot everything in sight. Impressed with the results, I went out and bought my first digital compact, the Nikon Coolpix 7900. That was it. I became hooked. Photography became an obsession! It was by chance that I stumbled across TrekEarth, which has been a great source of inspiration to me. Wanting to learn more about the technical side of photography, a few months later I decided to buy a Nikon D50. I enjoyed this immensely. Not long after, I decided to upgrade once more to a D200 and from this I'm learning new things all the time. By looking at hundreds of photographs on a daily basis, by reading many notes and through those members who kindly take the time to critique my postings, I’m learning so much about composition and in particular improving my technical photographic skills. Furthermore, there are some truly beautiful places on this earth, and the many photos on this site have enticed me to get out there and visit some of these wonderful places.
