| Présentation: | ************************************** TE Italian Meeting, Frascati, september 16 2007 Workshop collection Thanks to granchius for this beautiful portrait. ************************************** 2007-04-22 Hello, i'm Matteo, I'm 34 and I come from Bologna, Italy. After one year of permanence here on TE, it's time to update my intro. One years ago this site have been a great casual discovery, i realised immediately it was a community suitable for me. Infact i like very much either travelling and photographing, although i'm not a skilled photographer. During this year i've tried to be an all-around active member on TE, posting photos, writing critiques and making workshops. Photographer attitude In this year my most rated photos were the ones taken in wonderful natural landscapes. It's quite easy to make good photos where the subject is astonishing. In spite of this i think i've improved my technique, i've learned the meaning of basic items and now i've an higher control while shotting. Thank's to everybody who have rated my pictures, every time a get a new green smiley is always a fine emotion. Critiquer attitude In the last month i've forced myself in writing more critiques and more circumstantial ones. I generally don't write gereric critiques as "good colors" or "great composition". I think writing critiques with an actual analysis of other member's job is a great way to improve yourself in distinguish the difference between a normal shot and a great shot. At the moment my average ratio is almost one useful critique over three given. I think it's a good ratio. Workshop maker attitude I've learned a lot in postprocessing tecniques. My principal activity is doing workshops on my picture before posting them (for some basic corrections as saturation, light, contrast, noise, perspective and so on) For my first anniversary in TE i made me a birthday gift, a new SLR camera, a Panasonic Lumix FZ50. I hope it will help me in doing better photos and learning more about photography. | |
