| Présentation: | I'm in "occasional visitor mode" for the time being. Thanks everybody for your feedback and interest! 41 years old, married, living near Stuttgart, Germany. Ambitious photo amateur with a preference for landscapes/nature, people interacting with architecture, and - more recently - Japanese daily life. The Nikon D200 with the 18-200 lens is my choice most of the time, but I can also appreciate the benefits and discretion of a small compact camera. Many things on TE have changed since I joined, and some things like endless forum bickering just seem to get worse every day - but I will never forget the good times spent here, especially the interaction with members around the world, whether virtual or in person.
