| Présentation: | I am a medical scientist specialising in paediatric neurophysiology. I get to travel overseas occasionally both for work and pleasure. I also like to travel around Australia whenever possible. It is such a big and varied country! Locally, walking in the Adelaide Hills is a relaxing if more modest oportunity for photography. I used to draw and paint a little and I often travelled with a Super 8 movie camera until they went out of fashion so I thought I had an OK eye. When we met, my wife was more into still photography than me and she had/has a nice Nikon SLR camera which we don't use any more. When it comes to taking photographs, I am probably more concerned with composition and interest than anything else. I love these simple digital cameras that allow me to explore various shots without the expense of film. Hopefully, with your encouragement, I will become more sophisticated in using my camera. Discovering TE has been a revelation and I am a little scared that I will begin to look at the world though the camera lense too much of the time. Nonetheless, sharing photography with interested friends is a wonderful and educational pass time and I thank TE for making it better.
