| Présentation: | Hi, I live in northern Virginia. I enjoy photography as a hobby and love taking nature shots the most. I hope to improve my picture taking abilities with this website. Many of the first pictures I first uploaded are from my vacation during September, 2004 when I saw Denver, Rocky Mountain NP, Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Colorado National Monument, Moab, Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Zion NP, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and finally Las Vegas. That was followed the next September, in 2005 with a vacation to the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. I decided to start and end in Seattle. Along the way these were among the things I saw: Mount Rainier National Park, North Cascades National Park, Mount St. Helens, Mount Hood, Mount Adams, Columbia River Gorge, Portland, Crater Lake National Park, Redwoods National Park in California, drove the entire Pacific coast of Oregon and Washington on the 101 to Olympic National Park, Victoria, BC, Vancouver, BC, and back to Seattle. Also last summer I went to New York City for a short bit. Thanks to the nice people at Graphic Arts Center Publishing Company (GACPC) I am now a published photographer and it all started with this shot. The book is called Washington, D.C.: Portrait of a City. I had a fair number end up in the book and in the not to distant future I will be doing a series highlighting some of my favorites from the book. Thanks for visiting my gallery! | |
