Hi, Pat -

Every year since Jean and I got together (going on 12 now), we've traveled abroad at least once a year. Joining the Peace Corps was partly a way of getting someone else to pay for the tickets! :-) Actually, the Peace Corps was a fascinating experience, and one of the best ways to live in a country on a level with the locals, while at the same time doing something good for the world. Hard to beat that combination.

And yes, action scenes are best shot using the shutter-preferred setting. These boys were showing off for us, more than playing a real game - which would have been a LOT rougher - but it was exciting enough.

Best,
Dan
