Hi, Lee - Glad you liked the picture, and thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, the volcano was very distant, and in the morning haze and cloudiness, so what you see is all the information there was. Some of the objects in the foreground are the ones that got smoothed out a bit. Rwanda really is a beautiful place, and a haunted one, with its recent genocidal history - which, to their credit, they have not tried to hide or excuse away. I do regret we had so little time there, and also that I was so tired from climbing all that way to the gorillas that I didn't take more pictures of the countryside.
