Elena, It was taken from the window of a taxi and cropped as you say. I love taking pictures of people but in Developing countries I do find it difficult in case they think you are making a judgement on their circumstances. I am sorry to hear you say what you say about Russia. Sad to say politics and politicians are making a mess of many countries. Look at poor Pakistan where my lovely neighbors come from. From what little I have seen of Russia and from your pictures you have a great history and many beautiful buildings that people would love to see, and from my travels around the world I have found that in every country most people are lovely and welcoming.
