Hi Gert Now I am better informed about your travels in the 1970s - I shouldn't have jumped to a conclusion. You certainly travelled extensively as a backpacker - you must have been on the road for several years. I notice South America is also white on your map - I'm saving that for my retirement. I agree with you that I am sure this scene is unchanged today. Regarding the woman on the left I also wish I had captured the rest of her! This is probably one of the reasons I was a little reluctant to post this scan. There was a man to the right who I felt didn't contribute much to the photo and so I cropped him out.
