| “Mentor”, “student”...those are big words, Peter:) I don`t think I`m anybodies mentor; I just happen to know a few tricks in Photoshop and I have some knowledge about color correction, that`s all. Your photo is awesome, as I said before, and it doesn`t need anybody`s approval; admiration is the correct word for that, rather. Looking at your photo now, when in the morning I had to shovel snow for 15 minutes before the thrilling adventure of going to work it makes me...I can`t even say it!:) Well, I guess some people are more equal than others:) “I thought I'd get some good material when we went through the Great Sandy Straights behind Fraser Island but through the lens it all looked pretty boring.”...If it wasn`t boring when you were there, using your eyes, not your lens it means there is a chance and your “mission” would be to correct it and make the photo look the way you remember it. I only dump out-of-focus, poorly composed photos because they are hopeless, indeed but if it`s just the exposure or the color to fix, no problem. I like to be challenged, you know that, right?
