Hello Joël, and thanks so much for your visit!! well.....my "silence" and absence from TE was quite unexpected for myself! For the past 2 weeks there have been a couple of events which exhausted me physically (I slept very little and at the same time had much physical workload including my usual work) and, most of all, exhausted me emotionally. It all began with the following: first, on the 18th of October, I found a little kitten abandoned by an old woman near the block of flats where I live: she just passed by and threw the kitten away near the house! The kitten was about 1,5 months old, he was very hungry,he was afraid of everything. I immediately took him to my home with me, washed him, fed him, put him to sleep under a warm blanket. He slept with me all the first night (I almost did not sleep because I was afraid to hurt him in my sleep), and on the following day he was quite OK! I was glad that he was healthy, just very hungry... I have 3 cats, and all the 3 cats behaved rather friendly towards the kitten, although they were a bit surprised at first: probably they thought the kitten was only a very big live mouse! :) But taking care of the kitten (who tried to squeeze himself into every possible narrow passage and had an incredible ability to get stuck in this narrow passage without being able to withdraw himself back without anybody's help) took practically all my energy, thoughts, emotions... At the same time I did my best to find someone who would adopt the kitten because I could not keep him to myself though I wanted very much :( Fortunately, one week later a lady phoned me and said she would come to get the kitten. She was a ncie lady, and I liked her, so I am not worried about the kitten now :) But the next event was rather sad for me: one of my cats fell ill, and I had to call a vet doctor, make 6 injections to the cat every day... this also made me concentrated only on this, nothing else... I even cancelled my lessons to stay with the cat to take care of her. Fortunately, after a week's medical treatment everything became well again, and now I feel much relieved! so I can think of other things! and come to TE as usual :)) that's about it!
