Nuuksio National Park is inside Nuuksio lake uplands, the most extensive and ecologically important continuous backwoods area in the Uusimaa Region. The national park belongs to three municipalities, Espoo, Vihti and Kirkkonummi.

Nuuksio is a real treasure for nature lovers with its mosaic like topography, steep rocks, numerous lakes or ponds and marshes of the valleys.
