Trip to Tryp by Maria do Carmo Vieira Montfils (9767) 2010-02-06 - 2010-02-13
We had many reasons to go to Cuba:
- Of course, the principal reason was to go away from Canadian Winter... even if it was not for longtime ;-)
- It is not too far from here (at least, in comparison to my beloved Brazil)
- There are a lot of advertisements for Cuba in travel agencies. They convinced us also because of the prices - not very expensive.
- It is not necessary to take drastic precautions. For example, no special vaccines are needed.
- It is one of the favourite sunshine destinations of Canadians. Everybody has already heard good things about vacations in Cuba.

A cuban tale by Giorgio Mercuri (34965) 2009-03-13 - 2009-03-23
Cuba: an incredible place, where time seems to be stopped since half a century and light and colors are stunning. It's lovable to discover its people, its towns, its sea. Our trip started in The Havana, the beautiful colonial capital, UNESCO world heritage. Then we moved to Cienfuegos, Trinidad, Sancti Spiritus, Santa Clara and the Vinales Valley. We spent last days in the island of Cayo Levisa. (62 photos)

LA HAVANA by Rui de Camposinhos (11090) 2007-01-19 - 2007-01-28
The Cuban capital has scores of sites to visit. Old Havana, which UNESCO has declared to be a part of world heritage, contains many palaces, public squares, avenues, churches, fortresses and other forifications (including the largest fortified complex in the Americas dating from the 16th through 18th centuries.
One of the "things" that fascinate almost all visitors to havana are ... old cars.. enjoy the ride.. (29 photos)
Fidel's Lair by Bertolt Graichen (283) 2005-07-13 - 2005-08-02
My brother and I went to Cuba, as he was going to start working soon, and then it would be difficult for the both of us to coincide on our holidays.
Thus said, we wanted to use our last possibility to see Cuba before Fidel Castro dies, because we did not have the possibility to see a communist country yet, and we wanted to experience what the differences in life are... let's say I even before thought that communism is a good idea, always leading to something really bad, but this trip has proven me absolutely right. The splendid white sand beach of the ''Tryp Club Cayo Coco, on an island located on the North Atlantic Ocean side of Cuba''. A sea, with degraded turquoise almost unreal and a blue sky of a contrasting with such an harmony with this limpid and clear water, that we could see our feet in two mêtres depth. There what I you will make you visit all along this ''Travelogue''. A paradise on Earth.. ''Bon Voyage!... Gaetan'' ... (full story) (11 photos)
Cuba exploring by Philippe SL (113) 2003-08-08 - 2003-08-23
I was in Cuba with my wife, during 2 weeks, making a trip with our car all around the island.
We started our trip in Santiago de Cuba and finished it in Havana. On top of that, we could visit many cities and the countryside.
It is a mervellous country, exotic and amazing because out of time. (2 photos)
