Selamat datang... by Olivier Cantuern (5935) 2010-04-11 - 2010-04-23
"Selamat datang" signifie bienvenue. Sur chaque édifice, rue ou ville on peut le voir écrit ce qui traduit parfaitement le magnifique accueil des malaisiens. (181 photos)

During Spring Festival in China (Chinese New Year - Feb 2007), I escaped the cold in DongBei and went for a 3 week holiday to Malaysia.
As my friends live in Kuala Lumpur, I used that as a base and traveled back and from here.
The places I have visited:
- Kuala Lumpur
- Cameron Highlands
- Pulau Tioman
- Pulau Penang
- Taman Regara
In this travelogue I will show you pictures from all the places including information on how to get there. As I am uploading pictures, I will add to my story here as well, so keep checking.

Exploring Borneo by Peter Olsson (57) 2003-07-00 - 2003-08-00
(more photos to come)
Between July-August 2003, I and two friends went to Borneo on our vacations. We had planed the trip over a year and when we finally arrived, after a flight that took +15 hours from Sweden, we felt exited even though we hadn't gotten a lot of sleep on the plane. We had a few days of self exploring of the city called Kota Kinabalu before we joined a tour that lasted for 12 days. We were a group of 12 people from around the world, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Holland, Australia, and USA. We traveled in the northern part of Borneo known as Sabah. ... (full story) (7 photos)
Mt. Kinabalu by Carol Villafuerte (487) 2005-05-27 - 2005-05-31
The thought of climbing the South East Asia’s highest peak was a bit awkward, as I have not climb yet my country’s highest peak – Mt. Apo. The excitement turned into dismay when circumstances hinder my only option to purchase my plane ticket & tour slot. Giving up this climb with a saddened spirit, I convinced myself that Mt. Kinabalu wasn’t meant for me yet ... (full story) (6 photos)
East Coast Perhentians by Nick Miles (650) 2004-08-05 - 2004-08-15
The temperature plummets several degrees, the wind picks up and goose bumps raise on your flesh due to the chill and the beach clears. It was an extraordinary phenomena, I felt as if a tsunami was about to hit or godzilla would rise from the sea. ... (full story) (1 photo)
