Baja Sur by Pat Lim (21344) 2007-01-11 - 2007-01-21
Visit Baja California Sur & avoid the worst of the development & tourist frenzy. With supermercado & local café prices 25% higher than San Diego; Yahoo Travel Zoo’s all-inclusive rate of $50/day for TWO, including alcoholic beverages & tips, was amazing. Located beside the Estero de San Jose del Cabo, the El Presidente, caters to Canadian tourists. At first, it’s quite relaxing to be relieved of all money decisions. Then we were off; first to San Pedrito Surf Hotel on the Pacific side of El Cabo then to Cabo Pulmo on the Sea of Cortez. (11 photos)

One evening I got a sudden phone call. A long-term friend of mine invited me to join her on her trip to Mexico! I thought ...for about 5 minutes and agreed! And never regretted. Our trip was a blast! Here you can see several moments of it. This is Yucatan peninsula, Cancun area. More of my impressions in photos of this wonderful trip can be also seen on my accounts on TrekNature and TrekLens - the links are in my Intro. Thank you! (4 photos)

Trip to the past........ by Juan Aguero (36) 2004-05-02 - 2004-05-08
To prepare a trip to the past is always interesting and even more when it combines with the beauty of the scenery, this is the case of our trip to La Riviera Maya in Quintana Roo, Mexico. Where the Mayan culture left his trace in so important places as; Chichen-Itza, Coba and Tulum.
Everything interested in meeting this civilization has a forced commitment to travel to this place that has beautiful beaches and where his people are very nice, it is interesting to know as there lives the progeny of the ancient Maya through his occupations, his humility and happiness ...
