Photographer’s Note

The shape and texture of the rock made a great theme for many photographic experimentation, I had a great time there. A grad nd8 filter used along with the polarizer for this one. Hope you like it.

I think that the textures of the rocks can never be so impressive on a colour picture as here.

Great composition and excellent point of view. The sky reflecting in the water between the rocks has a surprising effect. I also like B&W version, which makes stronger impression. Congratulations!

Εξαιρετική εκμετάλλευση των υπαρχουσών φωτιστικών συνθηκών αλλά και των εδαφικών λεπτομερειών, έδωσε ένα εξαιρετικό γραφίστικο αποτέλεσμα, που η μετατροπή του σε ασπρόμαυρο τόνισε ακόμα περισσότερο.
Σωστή τοποθέτηση των όγκων μέσα στο κάντρο σου έδωσε σαν αποτέλεσμα την σωστή βαρύτητα στην δυναμική παρουσία του βράχου μέσα στο συγκεκριμένο τοπίο.
Εύχομαι καλό Σαββατοκύριακο.

It is incredible to make a good photo by a single rock. Your photo is a proof of its opposite. Texture of rock, its shape, water filling up its surrouding, and the "simple" world behind this "strange" rock.
I like the sepia tint, it makes the rock look more "soil".

Το σημείο λήψης είναι το κλειδί στην όλη υπόθεση!
Από αυτό κυρίως κρίνεται ο φωτογράφος, κατά την ταπεινή μου γνώμη. Σίγουρα η καθαρότητα της εικόνας και η σύνθεση τραβούν τα βλέμματα. Εκεί ποντάρει ο δημιουργός και νιώθει ικανοποιημένος. Τώρα η προτίμηση του Α/Μ έχει να κάνει με γούστα και τεχνική αποσόβησης προβλημάτων στην χρωματική απόδοση και στην έκθεση αυτήν καθ' αυτήν.
