collecting water in their hands or in a pot, then pouring it in the river, hereby signifying by this action the offering of holy waters to their ancestors

very good shot, I'm always very receptive and sensitive to images of ganga

HI John!
This is one of these images that needs no note.....
Excellent POV and composition.His position in the frame is perfect and I like his pose.The contrast between him and the grey water looks great and I like too the reflectons and little waves and it`s a good exposure for 120 mm without a tripod.
