Photographer’s Note

il etait une fois encor sur les falaises d'Etretat... j'ai connu cette endroit magique l'année derniere, mais a cette epoque je n'avais pas encor la passion de la foto... Nous avons decidé ma chérie et moi dy retourner cette année pour son anniversaire, redecouvrir cet architecture naturelle, déchirée, arrachée de la terre comme si ou bout il n'y aurait plus rien... wouaaa.
si vous ne connaissez pas etretat je vous le conseil.
la foto a ete prise en fin de journée.
encore une fois je compte sur vous pour me suggerer un ou des titres pour cette foto.

pardon my french. This is an interesting and beautiful view (Félicitations!) of a well known subject. In the past I have been searching a long time for a picture of Etretat cliffs that shows like yours the sediment layers clearly. They are of irregular thickness. The Serbian Mathematician-ingineer Milutin Milankovic found 1920 the solution for the phenomenon. It's the "Milankovic cycles", cyclical changes in orbit of our planet around the sun that influence the amount of solar radiation striking different parts of Earth. This explains the varying sediment depositions in the Cretaceous period--over thousands of years of course.
So my title would be "Milutin's secret".

Bonjour Bruno!
Une photo puissante, pour quelqu'un comme moi plutôt habitué aux plages de Méditerranée ou tropicales. Ceci me rappelle aisément des livres de R. L. Stevenson comme "les naufrageurs" (si ma mémoire est bonne) où les jours de tempête, les bateaux sont jetés contre les falaises et où la colère de l'océan se déchaine.

Comme titre, à part "Plages privées" il ne me vient pas grand chose ;-) ou quelquechose qui a trait à l'appétit de la mer!
