Photographer’s Note

I really like how the road draws your eye into the distance. It is really well positioned within the frame, allowing us to gaze at the countryside around it as well. Good deep DOF as well.

Hi Olivier,
A really good composition. I love lead lines, and you have managed to get two here, the road and the stream, to laed the ey right to the back of the photo. It's a nice piece of mist just at the top of teh hill on teh rigth as well. A moody atmosphere indeed.
Well done.

Olivier,
Very different than what I have in mind of Irish landscape, I expect more green hills than this yellowish brown hills. The gray sky is pretty close to what I imagine it would be like. I can feel the misty air just looking at this. I like the overall feel and essence of the place. The road leading and inviting us in is perfect for this scene. however there is just nothing to grab our attention, an anchor point. Usually we incorporate some natural element, such as a lone tree, a large rock, an animal, but since there is not such thing here. In this case if you are travelling with a companion, you can have that person, walk into the road, or bicycling into the road. Just my thought. Thanks
Way

Bonsoir Olivier,
Amicalement, Eric.
