Bonjour Bertrand,

Une photo assez evocatrice avec cette lampe tempete dans le flou et cette ambiance de fin de journée.
Une sorte d invitation a la reverie.
J aime beaucoup ce travail sur la profondeur de champs tout en assurant une bonne lecture de l image.
Je n essaie pas assez ce type de photos.

Salut Bertrand! What a beautiful mood. I like the very moment when the night breaks in and you take the matches out and let the oil lamp glow. We sometimes do that just for the feel of it, to smell the oil. What a beautiful idea to include the person's face, it makes a wonderful connection to Africa. Love it! Bonne soirée, Barbara.

bonsoir Bertrand,
étonnant point de vue, on adopte ici celui du personnage à droite de l'image.
bonne profondeur de champ avec la lampe floutée où le regard est invité à se perdre en rêverie.
bonne lumière ; le visage s'y découpe alors en ombre chinoise.
on devine une ambiance détendue, calme, propice au bavardage autour de cette lampe.

Une très jolie lumière qui illustre bien la situation. Malgré l'aspect sombre de la prise de vue j'apprécie beaucoup la chaleur évidente de la scène.

Bonjour, Bertrand,
c'est une très belle composition, qui a un sentiment et un bon niveau artistique.
Tu as créé une image magnifique seulement avec la silhouette du visage à contre-jour, en soulignant l'oeil qui regarde la lumière de la lampe, avec une profondeur de champ parfaite qui détache le premier plan sur un fonds très évocateur.
Très belle réalisation.

Hi Bertrand,
What a special mood with the warmth emminating from the lamp, and it is a wonderful idea to only show the ladies face partially from the corner of the frame. Great use of DOF to create a nice effect for this thoughtful image.
Sad about the electricity situation, things we take for granted every day.

Superbe composition, toute en délicatesse, tant par les couleurs que par la douceur veloutée du bokeh. Tu as trouvé une belle harmonie avec l'élégante silhouette de la femme et la dernière phrase qui conclue ta note, insuffle à l'image une autre dimension aussi inattendue que poignante. Félicitations!

MOST unusual. It took me a few seconds to get it, but I like it very much. A combination of abstraction and intense detail. And excellent light management as well, in difficult conditions.

"4th day without electricity with Zanzibar..." - you were lucky that you retained some battery power - otherwise we'd have missed out on this little gem!!

It's not easy to catch the eye on a photography site where literally thousands of shots pass before us - but here the eye happily rests. Something fresh, warm, unusual and effective. Magical really.

fantastic shot, so elegant and sensuous, the abstraction works very well to create a dreamy mood. love the warm colours, love the soft shapes. I would prefer that there was a little more space on the right to have lips in the frame in full, but that's a minor point. great shot, my compliments.
