Photographer’s Note

Je suis venue pour la cérémonie.
J'ai été choisie pour représenter les enfants de la plantation.
Alors, je suis fière.
Je suis habillée comme une reine, j'ai même des bijoux.
Ma maitresse me guide et me montre des tas de gestes.
Je dois donner des feuilles à certains invités.
lorsqu'ils arrivent, je me prosterne devant eux.
Je ne sais pas qui ils sont.
Je suis intimidée.

I came for the ceremony. I was selected to represent the children of the plantation.
Then, I am proud.
I get dressed like a queen, I have even jewels.
My teacher guides me and heaps of gestures show me.
I must give sheets to certain guests when they arrive, I prosterne in front of them.
I do not know who they are.
I am intimidated.

The reflections of sun rays on her hair make her a real queen. Very innocent look. But I would have preferred more tighter cropping by cropping the right side of the image. TFS.

Bertrand bonsoir - vraiment tout ce que tu fais est réellement splendide - il y a toujours un + ou une touche qui t'es personnelle - c'est dur à expliquer mais je trouve que le fabuleux portrait de cet enfant porte ta signature -

La beauté de l'enfance ( pas du diable :-)), la situation est bien prise jusqu'à la grace des mins qui tiennent eles feuilles de thé, le regard et la direction de celui ci donnent beaucoup de valeur à l'image.

Tout comme l’autre demoiselle on peu lire sur son visage par son sourire un léger contentement d’être là et de servir à quelques choses d’utile. Contentement que l’on aimerait voir pour d’autres raisons aussi.. !.Tu as toujours une bonne note qui accompagne et qui donne beaucoup de valeur à l’image.

I like this portrait with the light falling on her hair. However, the leaves in her hand are one of the major factor of the picture but you seem to not care about their cultural use or history. So, out of the beautiful photo to view, I learn nothing as... suggested by TrekEarth.

Truely delightful, the light just radiates from her and around her. I asm glad you didnt crop the right hand side the girl in black makes an excellent contrast and part of the story.
