Wat Buppharam

Call it Stupa, Chedi, Candi, Dagoba, Chorten or Tô, depending on the country where they are built, these words all mean the same thing.

The stupa is the earliest Buddhist religious monument and was originally only a simple mound made up of mud or clay, to cover relics of the Buddha.

Fundamentally, a stupa is essentially made up of the following five constituents:
a). A square base
b). A hemispherical dome
c). A conical spire
d). A crescent moon
e). A circular disc

Bonjour, André.
C'est un très beau travail sur cette statue.
Tu l'as fait avec amour, j'ai l'impression.
On dirait que tu as soigné chaque pixel de l'image.
Néanmoins, il y a comme un voile gris foncé sur l'ensemble mais c'est probablement ton choix...cela rend peut-être l'image encore un peu plus "lourde en or" ;).

Salut André,
Je suis passe tres vite en thailande lors de mon tour du monde, mais j'ai quand meme pu apprecier la richesse de leurs temples, que ce soit a bkk ou ayutthaya, il y a la matiere a faire pleins de cliches comme ce cadrage serre avec succesion d'elements. Je trouve le rayonnement sombre des tons ors tres joli.

Salut André,
Comme d'habitude un cadrage au poil qui aligne les bouts pointus du bouddha et du stupa, mais par contre l'ensemble de l'image est un peu terne alors je me suis permise de donner un petit coup de chiffon dans le WE pour faire briller un peu tout ça!

Hi Andre,
I know where this is, stood here myself a few years ago.
Your composition and pov is flawless, nothing to pick on that, but it could use some more contrast when making a slight s-curve in your curves layer.

Hi Andre!
This is a lesson of how to select the perfect angle to get such an original vision. I am really attracted by the resemblence of the top of the figure's head and the top of the temple. Maybe the brightness could be a little bit higher, but this is your choice of a darker mood i guess. Congrats,

Tu as trouvé ici un bel angle de vue avec les 3 éléments du décor alignés sur le haut. Je trouve aussi qu'il y a un léger voile sombre devant l'ensemble aussi je trouve le travail de Brigitte superbement réalisé.

Super composition and judgement of aperture for depth of field. The slightly muted gold colours imparts a soft glow which enhances the whole image. Super work Andre.

This picture bring back some nice souvernirs. The taste, the smell the colors of Asia! Beautiful composition, good POV with right choice of aperture to have the buda on focus and the background slightely blurred.
