HLM sur Brume I Photo

Photographer’s Note

Un rare évènement m'a surpris à mon réveil ce dimanche 14 janvier 2007.
La région a subi pendant plusieurs semaines de fortes averses.
Après le passage de la perturbation le sol froid a facilité l'apparition de cette forme de brouillard.
D'habitude la brume est totale, mais ce jour là, la nature a décidé de me faire ce merveilleux cadeau.
En cinq ans ce phénomène s'est produit deux fois.

Vue depuis ma fenêtre côté Est.
La limite de la ville d'Orléans se situe derrière l'immeuble rectangulaire à gauche.
A l'arrière-plan c'est la ville de Fleury les Aubrais presque noyée dans la brume.

Côté Ouest voici un stitch de deux images de mon quartier et une vue rapprochée d'un immeuble photographié au 300 mm.

Salut Didi. Good that you were alert and woke up early enough last Sunday to be able to capture this phenomenon. The low fog hovering in between the buildings brings a particular atmosphere to this photo, and the low-key morning light adds to the mood. Thanks for adding the workshop photos to complete the impression of that foggy morning.

Interesting how the fog (=cold air) creeps through the city. The familiar surroundings become a bit mysterious. But there's already the sureness of a wonderful day...a beautiful photo!

Hello Didi. Dawn. But the day awakes slowly. Smoke hazes hang over the city. The lanterns are still on. On the horizon the sky rose-pink colors itself. The lighting effect is wonderful. Therefore the photo is poetic. Very beautifully and worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Bonsoir, mon ami Didi,
Ce n'était pas un rêve.
Au petit matin, la brume envahit la profondeur de ma cité, le soleil transi l'a pris dans un voile blanc enlaçant tendrement l'environnement.
Je rêve dans ces nuages bas à des contrées lointaines.
Une vue semblable cela force à devenir romantique.
Etonnant ! Une situation qu'il fallait absolument mettre en boîte (de qualité).

Ground-mist is a very fascinating natural phenomenon.
Sometimes you can see only the head of a cow looking at a blue sky. Here we can see only the upper half of the town. You really took great advantage of this rather unique situation.

what a strange and wonderful fog .. seems like some sort of gentle armageddon has enveloped the world .. beautiful soft dawn to go along .. great point of view and capture of this event.

comme quoi ces atmospheres magiques ne sont pas reservees qu'aux campagnes et aux montagnes de France. le coté 'tiré au cordeau' est ici parfaitement visivle.

bien capté ce moment magique que la brume t'offrait. L'effet est fantastique, paraît une inondation de vapeur qui laisse voir les éléments et les édifices qui ressortent par dessus sien.
Cette photo me plaît, a un aspect mystérieux et une lumière et quelques couleurs réellement étonnantes.

Tu as eu raison d'immortaliser cet instant. cette brume au sol laissant passer quelques éléments urbains donne une très belle compo. En plus, cette lumière un peu orangée sur les batiments est vraiment belle.

You chose a great exposure level here, with the early morning tones of the pending sunrise quite evident and the details of the buildings discernible despite the masking mist. I like the way the tower on the right rises above the fog and provides good balance to the frame. Very fine work, Didi. I can see you sipping a strong cup of coffee and watching this scene in your residence...Well captured.

Un petit matin propice au photographe, fallait avoir son GPS ce jour-là !!! Une belle photo où l'ambiance est parfaitement restituée. Phénomène climatique toujours surprenant. J'aime beaucoup la vue rapprochée de l'immeuble en WS, avec cette brume, en partie basse, on dirait un reflet, c'est un effet très agréable. De belles images, bravo Didi.

La météo t'a offert ce jour là un bien photogénique spectacle qui valait bien de sortir le Canon... L'atmosphère ouatée et les couleurs pastels s'accordent parfaitement pour une composition un peu irréelle.

Très sympa, cette ambiance brumeuse. L'ambiance est douce et paisible. D'habitude, ce sont de hauts buildings qui sortent de ces brumes, là c'est un chateau d'eau bien de chez nous. Assez inattendu dans un certain sens.

Very good - the fog creates a strange atmosphere in this town, the way the higher buildings poke out above the layer of fog reminds me of 'Cloud City' in the Star Wars movies. The WS posts are useful too, shwoing us the view from the 'other side'.

La situation est bien prise, donc pas besoin d'aller loin pour faire une bonne photo :-) Tu peux même rester au lit !
Belle lumière et aussi une image pleine, sans surex malgrès les difference d'éclairage du bas vers le haut.

je succombe sur cette photo malgre que tout a ete dit, les couleurs sont tres douces ...on ne se croirait pas dans un centre de ville, la brume cache bien les détails, ce qui donne le pti charme a cette photo, bien vu, amitiés Bi

Je vois que tu as su t'élever au-dessus du brouillard ! Ce qui a permis d'obtenir ce fond rosé.
Ce que tu vois de ta fenêtre n'est pas toujours rose je le sais ;o)
Bien à toi depuis le QUEBEC où il y a de quoi faire pour un photographe malgré le froid présent.

elle est très réussie ta photo. D'abord, parce qu'effectivement ce brouillard evanescent est assez exceptionnel. Ensuite, parce qu'en fait, le paysage est un paysage urbain résidentiel très classique mais qu'il est considérablement magnifié par ta prise de vue et ce brouillard.
J'adore ces photos urbaines qui soudain sont transcendées par une bonne prise de vue

Aujourd'hui c'est chez moi qui le temps c'est comme ca on ne voit pas tres loin ici a Montreal maintenant. J'aime bien les possibilites qui ce type de conditions nous offre, tu as bien saisi l'opportunite. Le photo est bien interessant.
