I couldn't choose between this one and the colour version so I'm just going to post both.



I used photoshop to create a layer a new layer where I adjusted the hue to any random amount then duplicated the original image, put it on top, completely desaturated it and then set that layer to "color". Then I went back to the hue layer and adjusted the hue to make the blacks and whites to my liking, and finally I added a levels layer to make parts more crisp, blacks more black and whites more white.

Hope you don't mind, I enjoyed making my own interpretation of this photo as I liked the message it gave without having to say a word.



I titled the frame, sharpened just a little, lightened it using a layer of curves, increased the saturation quite a bit and then added a couple of layers of colour adjustments. I've taken a lot of yellow out giving it that blue-ish look because it's a personal favourite style of mine. Then I smoothed it a bit by reducing the noise.
