Shadow/Highlight and colour adjustment Workshop Photo

Workshop Note

I selected the darkest parts of the face with a slightly feathered lasso, and used the shadow sliders only in the Shadows/Highlights dialogue box to lift the darkest areas. Then with the same selection still active, I used the manual Dodge tool to add a little catchlight to the eyes. Then changed the selection to the whole face and used Selective Colour to slightly increase the yellow and decrease the cyan components of red to lift the complexion. Isn't she pretty?
