Workshop Note

Purpose, to reduce the ISO noise and to warm up the colour balance a little.

NewLayerViaCopy, Image/Mode/LABcolor. Applied a 3px Blur/Gaussian to the A and B channels to reduce the colour noise, then used a soft edged eraser to bring the flowers and the small Canadian flags back.

Used Select/ColorRange to grab the sky, touched up using Lasso. NewLayerViaCopy to create a layer with just the sky. Select/Inverse, and then NewLayerViaCopy again to create a layer with Chateau Frontenac in it. Moved the Frontenac layer to the top and then used Blur/Gaussian 3px on the sky layer to soften the noise. Reduced that layer opacity to 75% to leave some noise in the sky.

Finally added a little Red/Yellow to warm up the castle - Image/Adjust/ColorBalance. Shadows and Highlights +5, 0, -5. Midtones +10, 0, -15.

I hope you like it :-)
