These aircraft (Fouga Magister CM 170) were the previous airplane of the "Patrouille de France". They fly now with "Alphajet".
The last Fouga Magister presentation took place in Salon-de-Provence on September the 16th, 1980. Nowadays…The era of the Alphajet, takeoff towards the world.
In 1981, the Patrouille de France used to fly with 7 Alphajet. Nowadays, with 8 Alphajet, the popular success of the Patrouille de France is huge in France and abroad. The historic flypast in 1986 above New-York city, and the trips “Asia 2000 and 2004”, promote the excellence of the French Wings around the world. In 2004, the Patrouille de France fly for several millions of spectators during more than forty five official air shows in France but also in China, India, Malaysia, and Abu Dhabi.
