Granite and oaks again (64) stego
(15370) | This is one of the many outdoor sculptures made of granite found in Alpalhão, a village of the Nisa district (concelho in Portuguese). One of the main economic activities of the area are granite quarries, so it makes sense that they organise a art and music festival every two years focusing in the use of stone in decoration and art. As far as I know, these sculptures come from those festivals.
I don't know the name of the author of the sculpture, but someone told me that it represents a female wolf.
